From “The Eccentric Fifties” – when the the exaggeration of the Retro-Modern period had its moment in the sun before it gave way to the conservative mood that enveloped the country in the fifties.
 
This super rare timepiece, a vintage Lucerne “A Parabolic Watch” dated from the 1950s. A very famous mechanical wristwatch for its eccentric and unique triangle case. For what we can say, this watch was very popular in Hollywood, New York fashion scenes, night clubs and magazines and it was also worn equally by a man or a woman.
 
It is a manual-wind wristwatch powered by a Hilton Watch Co. movement, caliber FHF 60, featuring 17 jewels, unadjusted, a 46-hour power reserve, and without a second hand. Swiss made. 

Original champagne dial, which features gold printed Arabic numerals at 12 o'clock, gold hour markers, and matching gold hands. The dial showcases a unique design that perfectly complements the case's curved shape, and it is signed with the Hilton name and logo at the top. 

Cased in a 19.2x47.1mm elongated triangular eccentric case design, this timepiece has a distinctive look. 

The watch comes fitted with its original black leather two-piece strap.

This watch is a perfect collector's item, it is in good condition! Runs very well, keeps good time!

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.

The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
