There is a timeless beauty about this classic 1930's Gubelin ball pendant watch with a skeleton back. The dial is a beautiful creamy silver color with a satin finish that radiates as light bounces off of the curved crystal. The dial features shiny, pretty gold Arabic numerals and gold hands- lozenge shape for the hour hand, and leaf shape for the minute hand. The dial is signed Gubelin and Swiss. The 25.7 mm silver case also holds the movement, which can be observed in motion thanks to the curved crystal case back. Both plastic crystals are in excellent condition, showing no signs of wear to the naked eye.
One may find themself mesmerize when observing the tiny movement at work. This dependable Swiss movement has been adjusted to two positions and boasts 17 jewels. The movement is also signed Swiss, Gubelin.
It comes on a silver chain marked 800, and measures 24 inches.
This Gubelin is a very special, unique timepiece. One doesn't see a ball pendant watch with a skeleton back every day. This piece is in exceptional condition, and deserves to be appreciated in a collection, and enjoyed during special occasions.
